Vocal Spring Fling!!!! :)

My last "Big Show" as we vocal kids at school call it, is on friday. I'm really sad because school went by so fast I may never see any of my classmates again (because we are going to different high schools). Anyway, on a happier note, for the past three years the show has been held at The Civic Theater, so basically it's going to be awesome!!! This years theme is Tunes Through Times....yeah our themes are lame but it's not that bad. That's all for now! :)

Spring Break!!!!!

Yay!!!! I get to spend spring break in Florida with my best friend Emma. Yesterday was our first day and we went to see The Thomas Edison and Henry Ford Museum, it was kinda cool (I mean as far as museums go). I'll post pictures later because the grounds were really pretty. After that we went to the beach and today we are going to a water park. Well that's all. I apologize for the choppy sentences, had to type fast.

Heyza! It's a made up word get over it!!!

Yeah, I'm back!!! I love blogging but I really have nothing to blog about. Well, I did join 4H and I'm starting guitar lessons and I'm almost done with 8th grade....it's kind of a scary thought but I'm gonna be a freshman soon and my sister's almost a senior so that's even scarier. Spring break is coming up soon and I'm sooo excited because I get to go to Florida and spend time with my bestest buddy Emma. I guess that's all.

There has been tons of buzz about this in the last two days and the activist voice inside of me is screaming "DO SOMETHING, MAKE THE CHANGE!!!" at the top of it's lungs. Skiing!!!!!

I went skiing for the first time in four years!!!!! It was sooo amazing!!!! I love my best friend Emma and her family for taking me!!!! I didn't even need to take a lesson because her dad is an instructor...and I did way better then anyone expected.

Sunset

The white snow is wet and sloshed on the ground. I sit here trying to write an essay for a very important high school application but find myself writing a story in my head and typing it as I go. I’m listening to my IPod, and trying to block out the world. It’s not that hard of a task, I do it constantly. I see foot prints in the wet blue snow, probably from the mailman.

The sun is pretty much done setting behind the horizon from what I see. The sky is still blue but it’s getting darker and brilliant oranges, pinks and slight reds still streak the sky. Gray clouds hang low and the thick trees are blackened smoky silhouettes against the sky line. I always watch the sky whenever I get the chance; I look at how it changes. It’s my favorite thing; it brings this sense of comfort to me.

It’s darker now. It seems to consume the daylight and bring on a whole new world. Darkness, it’s something I love and hate. I love it because of stars in the midnight sky; I hate it because of dark rooms that make you feel blind and vulnerable like you’re trapped.

The sky is now a deep teal with hints of purple. The trees seem to disappear. The gray clouds are still very much visible. I can no longer make out the shape of our neighbors houses. It’s a peaceful night....it’s perfect.

Yay!!!! Finally I can blog again!!!!!

I'm back after almost four months of not blogging...YAY!!!!!! Anyway Happy New Year!!!! I don't have much to say so I'll give a brief update. Life couldn't be better!!! I've had a lot stress about applying for a high school (lots of people have been giving me crap) but that's all good now. My friend and I started writing a novel and it's a very very rough draft, but I have high hopes of getting it published later on. All 15 of my pets are great and I WILL post pics as soon as I figure out how. I've been spending most of my time at school (and reading) but I will start blogging more, I promise!!!! :)
